EP. 01

I’ve been an artsy person since I was a kid. I’d do dance performances and enroll in art competitions and classes. I like to think that all arts are interconnected by expression.

When I was in primary school, apart from Indian Dance I had joined the school’s Choir as an Alto. It was there when I really got familiarized with solfege, sheet music, and music production with GarageBand, as well as playing instruments during Music lessons. I owned a keyboard back then and labelled them with their CDEFGAB notes to try and play some popular songs.

After a few years, I picked up my ukulele and learned the chords for a song I resonated with back then (Freaks by Surf Curse). Since then, I had gotten busy and felt #FOMO towards more musically-inclined people. I found myself wishing I had the skills that they had no matter the instrument involved. When this subject was offered to me where I could dedicate time for myself to pursue something I’m passionate about, I saw the potential and thought, ‘Alright, let’s do this one last time.’ Get it? A Spider-Verse reference… No…? Moving on.
